Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back? Do you feel called to support women and families in your community? First Choice for Women invites you to explore how you can make a lasting impact—right here in East Central Indiana.

We’re hosting a Volunteer Interest Meeting on Wednesday, August 6th, from 6 - 7:30 pm at our Muncie Center (3020 N Oakwood Ave, Muncie, IN 47304).

Whether you're eager to get involved or just beginning to explore how you might serve, this meeting is a great place to start. You’ll learn about our mission, meet our team, and discover the many ways you can help.

What to Expect:

During this session, you’ll:

  • Learn about the mission and vision of First Choice for Women

  • Explore the different volunteer opportunities available

  • Ask questions and connect with staff and other attendees

  • Hear how volunteers are making a real difference every day

Why Volunteer?

At First Choice for Women, we believe in a community where every individual is valued and every child is wanted, cared for, and nurtured. Volunteers play a vital role in that mission, offering compassion, support, and practical help to women and families facing some of life’s most challenging moments.

Current Volunteer Needs at Our Muncie Location:

We’re in need of all areas, but specifically

  • Reception

  • Parent Care Advocates - male and female.

If any of these roles sound like a good fit—or if you’re simply curious—we encourage you to come. There’s no pressure, just an open door and an opportunity to learn more.
