Hiring: Office Manager

Objective of the Position: As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, the Office Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in performing administrative duties related directly to the daily operations of the pregnancy center.
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: None
Status: Part-time, with the possibility of full-time
Minimum Qualifications:
● Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
● Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity
● Agree with and be willing to uphold the Commitment of Care and Competence, Core Values, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center
● Have experience in office operations and general management of running an office
● Have experience with general accounting procedures and basic computer operations
● Exhibit excellent organizational skill and typing ability
● Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible
Preferred Qualifications:
● Associate’s degree or equivalent related experience
Essential Functions:
I. Accounting
● General bookkeeping procedures of the center: entering, maintaining, and balancing accounts payable and accounts receivable
● Complete weekly accounting procedures of entry, donations, scans, and deposits
● General procedures for payroll, payroll taxes, and payment of bills on a timely basis
● Prepare and mail year end W-2’s, 1099’s, and associated filings
II. Computer Operations
● Entry of accounting and donor receipting
● Generate financial reports and donor information reports for the Executive Director
● Update general mailing list, as needed
● Implementation of data entry of annual fundraising events, including reports and billing procedure
III. Administrative Functions
● Assist the Executive Director with performing office administrative duties
● Assist with major fundraising events at both locations
● Attend monthly in-service (when available)
● Distribute and process all returned mail
● Work with the Operations Manager to maintain staff anniversaries and birthdays
● Full-time OM will process renewals for agency affiliations as needed (Executive Director fulfills when part-time)
● Full-time OM will complete and maintain HR policies and procedures as needed (Executive Director fulfills when part-time)
● Assist as needed with Life Ambassador and Church Development programs
● Full-time OM will send emails to the Board for Board preparation and meetings (Executive Director fulfills when part-time)
● Full-time OM will assist Executive Director in coordinating events, meetings, retreats, mailings, etc
● Acts as compliance officer for the organization; overseeing all aspects of compliance and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA and HIPAA regulations
